I really loved this design by Cowkitty and wanted to create a way that the TriForce pieces could be easily removed and put back together. When I tried editing the original file, I found it had some extra geometry and wasn't perfectly symmetrical, so I decided to take precise measurements and rebuild it from scratch. I set the largest dimension of the outermost triangle equal to 50 meters, then based all inner triangles on the midpoint length between them. I included my Sketchup file from when I finished the Triforce piece, but before working on the hanger attachment. I struggled to get the original hanger just right, which I think was actually better than what I came up with in the end. I created files for different sizes of the TriForce Pieces to give makers more options. I discovered that a .95 scale was too loose, and a .97 scale was loose for one piece but snug for the other two, so I included a .96 scale piece which might be just right. When it's too snug, I simply use my trusty Solidoodle spatula to carefully remove it. It might be worth considering going looser and inserting magnets in the frame and on the pieces. By making separate pieces, makers can color them as they please and even print using different filaments. They could also experiment with transparent or glow-in-the-dark materials for a unique effect.
