Trifecta HK 2 axis Mobius gimbal mount
thingiverse
I designed this platform specifically to mount my HK 2 axis Mobius gimbal on the Trifecta, providing a reliable and versatile alternative to the original equipment from HK. Crafted with SketchUp, it was my very first design ever, which might explain why it's quite basic in appearance. If you're currently using the Mobius or GoPro mount from HK, simply replace it with this custom-made platform for an upgrade that will take your photography and videography to the next level. To secure the gimbal firmly in place, the long platform can be attached with zipties, double-side tape, or even screws, effectively holding onto the original rubber mount. I've been experimenting with eliminating the "jello" effect by swapping out the rubber for zipties but haven't quite cracked the problem yet. I'm sharing this design openly so you can use it, modify it, and share your creations without restrictions – just keep in mind that if you do make any modifications, please pass them along to the community. To fasten this platform to the Trifecta frame, you'll need either an M2.5 x 20mm or x25mm screw; unfortunately, I haven't sourced mine yet and am currently relying on bamboo skewers for stability, which could be contributing to the jello issue I'm still trying to resolve.
