Trident/Switchblade 250 Updated Tail Mech

This updated tail mechanism is specifically designed for the Trident and Switchblade 250 tricopters, offering a more robust solution. A larger servo takes center stage in this design, allowing for seamless integration of a Hitec HS-65MG or similar sized servo. The new tilt mechanism cleverly utilizes the servo horns provided with the servo itself, necessitating only a 10mm spacing between the servo's output shaft and the mounting point. To secure the horn to the tilt mechanism, use the small self-tapping screw typically included with most servos. This tail mechanism also requires an M3 locknut and an M3 screw to complete the pivot smoothly. The V2 Tail is compatible with the Hitec HS-65MG servo, while the V3 Tail boasts a slightly larger pocket that can accommodate other servos; however, exact compatibilities remain uncertain at this time.
