I use flat molds for silicone casting projects. Once my silicone is cast, I proceed with pouring in a layer of resin and allowing it to cure until it reaches about 80% hardness. Next, I employ a heat lamp to carefully reshape the crown onto a precision jig. This technique not only preserves the integrity of my silicone mold but also saves me from having to create multiple molds for each piece.
