I always stash my Trident 18's in my pocket, but those paper wrappers never fail to look shoddy, so I decided to create a box that perfectly fits eighteen pieces of Trident gum. To share this project with others, I included the original SolidWorks files, making it easy for anyone to adjust the design or size as they see fit. Here's how I made it work: two discarded push pins served as hinges because creating a rod the required length is extremely challenging, but by applying a small amount of ABS/Acetone goo, these makeshift hinges stay securely in place.
