A custom hinged tricopter yaw mount has been designed, loosely based on a popular open-source model found online at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:227642. This new mount is engineered to fit snugly around a 12mm round tube. To secure the component, a precisely calibrated 3mm pin measuring approximately 28mm in length is required. To date, I have utilized a cut piece of sturdy 3mm steel rod, but it is likely that other suitable materials will prove effective as well. This innovative yaw mount has been specifically tailored to accommodate the popular 9g Hobbyking micro servo; however, it should be noted that most micro servos are probably compatible.
