Tricopter Yaw-Mechanik
thingiverse
My version of Yaw Mechanism for a Tricopter. I inserted the servo directly into the boom and secured it with a cable tie through two holes. The center of gravity of the motor lies on the pivot axis due to the boom, thereby reducing the load on the servo and allowing it to respond faster. The holes in the motor mount are for a Hextronic DT750. I used 12x12mm wooden dowels. Here's a video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8A0mfnO-LIc. Upon request, I will provide the Inventor files so that you can easily make changes.
