To run your wires up to the top of the plate on the new Tricopter v3, you'll need to lift that controller board off the surface first. This easy platform lets you do just that. However, it will require drilling some holes in your frame to accommodate the screws. No big deal, really. I used M3 screws and they fit snugly. To ensure they don't come loose ever, you can fill the holes with super glue. With this added step, the job is done. If you want a Tricopter v3 frame, just visit rcexplorer.se. You'll need four 6mm M3 screws to finish this project and a small drill bit to make holes in your frame for those screws. My Pixhawk mounts perfectly with folded mounting tape.
