Tricopter v1.0

thingiverse

A recent Tricopter design, featuring a strong frame with three interchangeable module slots. Despite not being the lightest, it assembles easily and includes a Gopro mount in the front slot. The tail yaw mechanism uses an aluminum spacer from Home Depot and a bolt as axle while 14mm carbon fiber tubes are utilized for the arms. Motor mount holes measure 19mm and 16mm, fitting NTM motors. Additionally, small mounts for receiver, speed controllers, video transmitter and other accessories are included. The cockpit is designed to accommodate an Ardupilot snugly, with foam mounting tape used to attach it to the main frame and another layer to secure the Ardupilot within. This setup significantly reduces vibrations felt by the controller.
