TriCopter RC Explorer V.2
thingiverse
UPDATE: The initial design had some issues with the screw holes, which have now been realigned and nut traps updated to 6.5mm for better fitment. There are three shallower nut traps designed to retain strength; use M3 x 20mm screws in these areas. Counter bore holes on top allow for easier Velcro attachment of electronics. This Tricopter is based on David Windestål's RC Explorer V2.5 and requires six printed parts, assembled with 3mm screws and nuts, as well as zip ties. For details on the light control board from the receiver, visit teaching-innovation.com. Check out a flying demo on YouTube to see the Tricopter in action. To assemble, print all parts at 30% density for added strength. Purchase the required HobbyKing parts listed below and follow the instructions provided. Enjoy safe flying!
