Tricopter Landing leg (Nylon)

This is a custom landing gear system designed for my tricopter, expertly secured with zip ties onto the 1/2-inch square wooden boom rods. Fabricated from high-quality nylon material, this part has undergone testing and development, yielding excellent results despite minor print quality issues still present. Initial attempts using ABS plastic resulted in shattered parts after just one harsh landing, prompting a switch to nylon for enhanced durability. Nylon proves to offer a soft, bouncy impact resistance, comparable to the heavily bent up zip tie previously used, but with a more aesthetically pleasing design. The integral slant brackets are specifically designed to manage cable runs, but can be easily removed if not needed.
