David Windestål's tricopter frame at http://rcexplorer.se inspired me to create a 3D printable version due to my lack of access to a lazer cutter. I have included his original design and printed it myself, but my tricopter remains a work in progress as I continue building it. The holes are optimized for m3 screws, providing a snug fit. Designed to accommodate 10mm wooden rods that perfectly fit between the screws after slight material adjustment to prevent movement.
