thingiverse
Introducing Tricopter RC Explorer V.2's legs and battery holder by jphillips (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:67010). In addition, a base is provided for the Hobbyking 2-8S Cell Checker with Low Voltage Alarm (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__18588__Hobbyking_2_8S_Cell_Checker_with_Low_Voltage_Alarm.html). For protection and optional camera/transmitter holding, a canopy is designed. Assembly involves printing the parts and attaching them to the tricopter's fuselage using existing screws. The alarm unit fastens with 2 zip ties. KISSlicer slices it with support enabled. Note that longer screws (25mm) are required, fitting into existing screw positions. The scad file is parameterizable for battery dimensions, allowing extra space for easier insertion and removal.
