David Windestal's Tricopter Scratch Build V2.6HV at Flite Test showcased a battery holder created using laser cut 1/16" pinewood pieces. Due to lack of access to a laser cutter, I designed replacement parts for printing in plastic. For my tricopter, I plan to use an affordable 1/8" pinewood rectangular plank and potentially place the wire mount point on its bottom side. Included are OpenSCAD files for others to improve upon and upload their designs. Notably, versions have been added for the King Cobra Tricopter base, with a recent update modifying the hole location of the bottom battery holder to accommodate the reduced base size in the previous version. Additionally, follow instructions provided on Flite Test's website (http://www.flitetest.com/articles/tricopter-scratch-build) for further guidance.
