TriCopter base for US

TriCopter base for US

The original design by rcexplorer for 12.7mm square (similar to 1/2" square) wood booms has been updated in this version, which is available in the US. The notch meant to hold the arms has been removed as it was ineffective; instead, the design now relies on the increased surface area for friction. To modify the OpenScad file, use the comments provided. APM 2.5 mount holes have already been added, and counter sink holes will be incorporated soon. Change the width of the wood boom/arm in the OpenScad file as per your requirement, export the STL file, and print two copies for top and bottom usage. Follow the build instructions from the provided link (http://rcexplorer.se/projects/2011/09/the-tricopter-v2-5/) to assemble your tri-copter. Please note that this is a work in progress.
