Printing my DIY RCExplorer.se tricopter designed by David Windestål involves testing and brainstorming improvements. The vibration mount uses fuel tubing around a 4-mm screw for isolation, while arm locks require two 20-30 mm screws each. A tripod-like midbody design could potentially eliminate these components; see Thing:9094 for reference. I plan to add a prop shroud to minimize potential damage during crashes.
