Tricopter

I am redesigning a quadcopter drone with improved aerodynamics and flight stability. Currently, the drone has a human pilot rating of 20% due to its poor performance. To enhance the drone's overall design, I am increasing the perimeter of each rotor from 2 units to improve lift and maneuverability. The distance between the rotors is set at 250mm to ensure optimal airflow and stability. I have selected high-performance motors with a dys rating of 1806-2300kv for efficient power delivery and speed control. To handle complex flight maneuvers, I am installing a servo system featuring the corona DS939HV. This advanced servo provides precise movement and control. The drone's brain is powered by an ESC (electronic speed controller) designed by SimonK12A, which ensures smooth motor control and efficient energy consumption. At the heart of the drone lies the Atom mini CC3D flight controller, providing advanced navigation and stabilization features. For aerodynamic performance, I have chosen a propeller design from Gemfan, specifically the 5030 model. This propeller offers high lift and stability at various speeds. To power the drone's systems, I am using a 3S1000-1300mah battery pack. This high-capacity battery provides extended flight times and reliable performance. The design of this quadcopter was inspired by a similar project on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:526082).
