Triceratops - Skull - Head - Dinosaur

thingiverse

Triceratops emerges as a distinct genus of herbivorous ceratopsid dinosaur, appearing for the first time during the late Maastrichtian stage of the Cretaceous period, approximately 68 million years ago in what is now North America. This remarkable creature stands as one of the last known non-avian dinosaur genera to exist before its extinction in the devastating Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event 66 million years ago.[1] The name Triceratops, literally translating to "three-horned face," is derived from Greek roots: τρί- (tri-) signifies "three", κέρας (kéras) means "horn," and ὤψ (ops) means "face."
