This includes three distinct poses: default, roar, and a howling pose. The sculpture was crafted in ZBrush and optimized for printing before being posed in Blender. Skin impressions by Lane the Triceratops (https://blog.hmns.org/2012/05/introducing-lane-a-mummified-triceratops-with-a-new-address-at-5555-hermann-park-dr/) provided valuable reference points, allowing an educated guess as to how skin impressions would translate to the face. As a result, this design does not incorporate the hypothesized keratinized mantle. Scott Hartman's skeletal illustration (https://www.skeletaldrawing.com/ornithiscians/triceratops) served as the foundation for designing the entire creature, with some creative freedom taken to make it unique. This sculpture was created using several different paleontological facts and hypotheses currently available. Developed within approximately two weeks, this sculpt will be the first of many busts I plan to upload. I am eager to see remixes and other creations that people will come up with!
