Triangular Voronoi Pendant

Triangular Voronoi Pendant

I designed the shape using Inventor, then I used MeshLab to add some Voronoi patterns to give it a unique look. The final result is what you might call a Voronoi Triangular Toroid - a shape that's as much fun to say as it is to look at. To take the pendant's design even further, I intentionally paused the print mid-process and dropped in a few ball bearings into the interior space. These small metal balls are now free to roll around inside the pendant, adding an extra layer of movement and visual interest to the overall piece. If you want to achieve the best results when printing this design, follow my lead and print it vertically as shown in the image. This will help minimize supports while allowing the bottom surface to stick securely to the print bed. To make the process even smoother, focus on placing supports only under the pendant's lower surface if possible, which should make the entire printing experience run more smoothly.
