<p>My <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/115065-fischertechnik-angular-block-45deg-winkelstein-45d">earlier attempt</a> did not fully realize the potential of a 45° angular block, as it did not stay within the fischertechnik 15mm grid. This design picks up <a href="https://forum.ftcommunity.de/viewtopic.php?f=4&amp;t=7200#p55966">several suggestions by Thomas (geometer) in this ftc-thread</a>.</p><p>There are STLs for two versions: the “ganze Nut” version, also shown in the photos, is more feeble and prone to break or bend, particularly when printed lying flat. The “kurze Nut” version should be more stable, I did not test this, yet.</p><p>Both versions come with an optional support for upright printing (see last photo).</p><p>update 2022-03-05: added FreeCAD source file; added an additional FreeCAD source (Winkelstein parametrisch v1.fcstd) for parametric angular blocks. Simply alter the rotational angle of the “WinkelEbene” plane and update the model to get other angles. Edit or delete the grooves ("Nut außen" and “Nut unten”) as needed.</p>
