Triangular Based Pyramid Eppendorf Holder (58 holders)
thingiverse
I designed an Eppendorf holder that boasts 58 useful holes (86 total).\nYou can use it specifically for 1.5ml Eppendorfs, but feel free to explore alternative uses.\nThe holder's design ensures 86 faces in total, with each face providing 58 holes you can utilize.\nConsidering space efficiency and capacity, I believe this holder performs well.\nHowever, I'm unsure about printability on certain printers due to its size: 13.4 cm height and 15.1 cm width.\nFortunately, it can be printed on a Makerbot Replicator 2 plate bed.\nRegarding resolution, I have no insights, but small parts in the holes may interact with each other.\nA helpful contribution from someone about printability would be greatly appreciated.\nPlease note that this design uses quite a lot of plastic, so it might not be suitable for all printers.\nIf you encounter any issues or think of improvements, I'd love to hear them. Update | Mini Version I decided to create a more compact version with fewer holes, likely appealing to users with smaller needs and smaller printer capabilities.\nThis mini holder has 34 usable holes out of 52 total, making it a practical option for everyday use. Update | Micro Version To challenge myself creatively, I created a Micro Eppendorf holder.\nWhile balancing it will be key to achieving stable print quality, I'd love your input on how this version will perform in practice.\nWith 14 usable holes out of 24 total, the micro holder provides a minimalist approach that can still meet various needs.
