A Simple Box for Displaying Small Lithophanes This triangular box is designed to showcase 150mm square lithophanes with edges no thicker than 4mm. The base of the box features a depression that perfectly accommodates a tap light from Dollar Tree, which measures approximately 69mm in diameter - yes, it's not fabricated! Version 3 of this design introduces a post that fits snugly into the depression, allowing you to wrap an LED strip around it. The post is hollow and can even accommodate an Arduino Nano to power the strip, making it ideal for projects using neopixels. Once printed, the lithophanes should slide effortlessly down into the slots. Simply turn on the light, and then gently place the top on. Update: A new version of the base has been added, now featuring a cable port for wired electronics. Version 3 Update This new version is exclusively available here on Cults3D. Key improvements include: - The cable port runs along all three sides, allowing you to turn the box while keeping the cord hidden underneath and exiting through the back. - A brand-new post has been designed to fit seamlessly into the recess on the base.
