Triangle holder for cymbal stand
thingiverse
This file is meant to allow you to mount a triangle on a cymbal stand. The reason for this instead of everyone's favorite option, the Miller Machine, is that it is cheaper and in my use case it forces the students to still use correct technique. I designed this because the student didn't have enough time to pick up the triangle and beater in our marching band show. This takes most of that issue away. And they practice triangle playing technique. I have the cord running through twice to help prevent the triangle from wanting to twist as it is being played. After printing this file you will need to then use your favorite triangle clip string to finish it off. Suggestions: Print using a Brim Print using supports If you do not use both of the top options I have found that it has problems balancing on the print bed with the orientation I have in the file. You may choose to turn the file and take advantage of the strength that may provide but there is more post processing and who needs a triangle heavy enough to break this. I was not looking at any inspiration when designing this. This is a completely original design.
