For those of us living the no-dishwasher life, it's convenient having somewhere to sit your cutlery to slowly air dry or at least drip for a bit before the tea towel gets to it.This design is a first pass at scratching my own itch and it may well be revised/improved in future if necessary. So far so good, though. It doesn't overbalance, and the subtle gradient helps guide the cutlery and water where it belongs.I did make a slight change to the model seen pictured above; the pattern seen is only 0.2mm deep, while the model provided is 0.4mm. I decided 0.2mm was not bold enough after seeing the model in flesh, so to speak.---As an aside, I initially looked at putting a fuzzy skin on the outside walls, as I thought that would be both practical and attractive. Unfortunately it was too hard to get SuperSlicer to play with only putting the skin on the outside, at least, using the profiles that I'm using. Using a generic profile on Orca slicer, I was able to get it to slice appropriately. I wasn't hugely interested in spending the time getting Orca set up properly, so left it there.Anyway, if you're interested in that version of the model, let me know and I can upload it.
