Triang 'BR Mk1'-style Carriage Replacement Bogies
thingiverse
Following on from the short LMS bogie coaches, I also updated the design to use on the Triang BR Mk1 style carriages also in need of bogies with more modern couplings and metal wheels in place of old, brittle, damaged and warped plastic wheels. The two halves of the chassis glue together, you will need to trap the wheels between the chassis halves as you do this. Remove features from the underside of the carriage to position to the new bogie subframe and glue to the undercarriage. Fit the bogie frame with wheels, and use the bearer and a longer self-tapping screw to fix in place, this should allow the bogie to swivel freely. As with my other designs, couplings are optional, and there's the choice of latched or latchless designs. If you improve these, i.e. adding better couplings, please share here for others to benefit.
