Triakis Icosahedron

thingiverse

A Catalan solid with dual properties, this design is the inverse of the Truncated Dodecahedron. Its unique characteristic is that the Triakis Icosahedron has 10-degree vertices while the Truncated Dodecahedron has 10-sided faces. It was made using Mathematica, MeshLab, and TopMod software. On MakerHome Day 199, it was featured on http://makerhome.blogspot.com/2014/03/day-199-triakis-icosahedron.html.
