Designed for automated rescue robots, this wheel system enables seamless traversal of emergency zones with its unique rotation mechanism. Featuring alternating wheel and triangle assembly rotations, it easily navigates both intact terrain and large debris. The custom transmission at the core of this apparatus achieves this by initially powering the lower two wheels, then withdrawing their axles before flipping the large triangle for desired positioning. As the big arms crawl over fallen debris, axles are re-engaged in whichever two wheels are on the ground, allowing the assembly to drive on flat surfaces once more.
