Tri-Track ultrasound sonar with MG90 servomotor
thingiverse
Here's a funny sonar created for Tri-Track that I'm excited to share with you! It works in perfect harmony with an MG90 servomotor and a SR-04 ultrasound distance sensor, both expertly managed by Arduino Mini and ultimately controlled by a more powerful computer equipped with an ESP8266 Wifi module. The real brains of the operation is the Arduino software that effortlessly manages all components, including WIFI, servos, magnetron, and sonar - no easy feat for a mini-sized microcontroller like Arduino! I'm uploading this code because I think it's incredibly useful and might just revolutionize your projects. As we speak, I'm busy translating the entire code to run smoothly on an ESP8266, which will undoubtedly unlock new possibilities. Meanwhile, I've also developed a little program in Python that allows for remote control of the sonar system and even attempts to implement a simple SLAM algorithm - although results are still tentative at this stage.
