Tri-Track dual servo robot tank chassis
thingiverse
The Tri-Track robot chassis is built around a Sublime 100mm wheel base track system, featuring dual servo motors mounted above the chassis. This allows for easy attachment of a robot body or arm between the tracks. The design has been strengthened to handle additional stress and increased weight capacity. Updates include the addition of a platform base for mounting robot components, and split BaseLeft and Baseright files for easier printing on a MakerBot. However, there are errors in the Tri-Track Frame file, which is still printable while corrections are made. A new Solid Axle version of the frame has also been designed. A video of the chassis in motion is available at http://youtu.be/KcNyt-GK2NU, and the project credits Olalla's original track design and Hoeken's servo mount. Instructions and files will be added as the build progresses, with 44 track sections, two sprockets, four 608 sprockets, and four 608 bearings required, along with two servo mounts and one Base Left and Base Right set.
