I fashioned these covers to smooth out the rough edges of my aluminum tri-lobe tent stakes. This makes them gentler on bare feet, in case you accidentally kick a hard-to-spot stake. The flat top also enables easier handling and installation into the ground. These covers should fit most standard aluminum tri-lobe (untwisted) tent stakes found at online retailers like Amazon.com, where I purchased mine - it seems that many cheap brands sell identical products.
