This part should be made of nylon, as it perfectly fits onto the groove mount on the Tri Hotend and securely holds it in place against the mounting plate. This component is completely unnecessary if your triangular mount already has a snug press fit, which I've never found necessary myself. However, if you're consistently experiencing loose-fitting prints, using this piece will greatly improve their quality.
