It can be configured into any of the three tournament chess forms. The boards are built using Inkscape, following Ponoko design criteria and are intended for .118 wood or Acrylic plastic laser cut. Each set includes three 4x4 square boards, six 2x2 squares with supports and a support stand. Assemble the supports onto 2x2 squares by inserting into holes, locate the cross beams and vertical supports, bolt together using machine screws and nuts, attach the middle y beam and the middle and top 4x4 boards. Finally, place the 2x2 boards with supports on the desired location of the 4x4 boards based on your chosen 3D chess style and populate the board with chess pieces.
