Tri-Angle Tablet Stand

Tri-Angle Tablet Stand

thingiverse

I saw that all the tablet stands on Thingiverse were either too small or overly complicated. My son has several tablets in the 10-inch range, and he wanted to be able to stand them at different angles on his desk for reasons unknown. This was my first build from scratch, and after making the first one (actually three), my son tested them out. He suggested a small lip at the end of the "toggles" to grab the bottom edge, as one of his tablets is quite thin while another is relatively thick. I added the lip specifically for the thicker tablet. When properly assembled, the toggle will be perpendicular to the nearest edge. The incline angles are 45, 60, and 75 degrees, offering fewer choices than some systems but tailored to my son's specific request. All the parts were designed to lay flat on my small build area of 120mm x 125mm. I actually printed the rods vertically, which is where I used supports.
