One of the greatest landmarks in the world of surfing, the surfboard trestle's original design inspires this creation. I conceived this model because I wanted to see how it would look if built to scale. The resulting design isn't an exact replica but I aimed for accuracy within the limits of a 200 mm x 200 mm print bed minimum. You can print smaller sizes with modifications, which are detailed below. Future updates may increase size and accommodate a wider range of printers. For visual reference, check out this image: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/.a/6a00d8341c630a53ef0167667ea8ab970b-pi Print Settings: Rafts: They are optional. Supports: Yes, they are strongly recommended. Notes: A 200 mm x 200 mm print bed allows you to print the entire model at once using the trestle-printall file. Smaller beds require printing each part individually except for trestle-whole. For the whole structure, supports are necessary; you may or may not need them for other parts. Enabling support during all prints is advisable for optimal results.
