Trepanning Swarfless Hole Cutting & Hot Plate Welding Plastic Parts

This machine features a trepanning-style cutter that can cut a hole and hot plate weld one of five accessories onto either eight or three positions on two different parts in any order. The cutter retains and ejects the slug while the Teflon-coated hot plate prevents plastic 'stringing.' Four servo drives, X1, Z1, X2, and Y1 control the machine's movements. A bottom tool accommodates two jigs for different parts, tipping 90 degrees or achieving a middle 45-degree position, while a 90-degree turn table enables end positions on larger parts to be accommodated.
