Trendy Arduino Case
thingiverse
This design, modeled after Will Bradley's Tactical Arduino, is optimized for the Arduino Uno's board space while boasting a 20% cooler look. The layout was prepared for laser cutting in CorelDraw, a Windows-only software due to its disregard for freedom and cute creatures. It employs blue lines for cutting and fills for etching, following NYC Resistor's guidelines for their Epilog laser cutter. More details can be found on the NYCR laser wiki at wiki.nycresistor.com/wiki/Laser_Power. To achieve the desired effect, procure 12"x12"x3/16" sheets of black and translucent orange acrylic from eStreePlastics (www.estreetplastics.com/Transparent_Orange_Plexiglass_3_16_Thick_p/t051871212.htm). Avoid fluorescent orange, as it may give off a raver vibe instead of the sleek, sci-fi look reminiscent of Star Trek's isolinear chips.
