Need more space in your budget-friendly guitar body for storing electronics, picks, personal items, or grandma's secret buttermilk biscuit recipe? You say you don't use the tremolo system anyway? Replace the tremolo springs and claw with this custom block. You don't even need to screw it into place unless you want to. The string pressure holds it firmly in position. The friction between the lid and the box should also hold the lid securely in place. If you want to add extra electronics to your guitar, simply put them into the lid and box, then drop them right into the trem block box's cavity. This design consists of two parts: one is the inner block that prevents movement of the trem system, while the other is the lid with an attached box to contain additional items or be modified to dispense picks, hold a tuner, charging port, electronics, and more. The lid & box part friction fits snugly inside the block part, with layer lines providing extra friction for added security. If you need even more security, you can match up your existing back plate with the lid&box part to mark holes and drill them to use the existing screws to hold the lid firmly in place. Note: I can't guarantee that this design will fit your guitar perfectly. I based it on my Squier Bullet Strat made in Indonesia in 2017, but tremolo pockets can vary from model to model. If you're trying to see if this design will fit yours, here's some helpful information: My guitar has the following serial number: ICS17****** The "I" indicates that it was made in Indonesia. The "C" means it was manufactured by Cor-Tek (Cort). The "S" denotes that it was sold under the Squier brand. And the first two digits, "17," signify that it was produced in 2017. If your guitar's serial number has these attributes, then it's likely a good fit for this design.
