The bike mount's rail, where the rear light is slid in, has a design flaw. Material fatigue caused parts of it to break. This replacement part fixes the issue by allowing you to securely attach the light to the holder again. Update 2019-03-20: After installation, I noticed that the frame mounting point interferes with the back side. The model has been updated, and hopefully, this will solve the problem (still untested as I modified my existing printed object).
