One day I contemplated how I could repurpose my trekking poles as a makeshift tripod, and then I stumbled upon an impressive-looking tripod designed by @kondzio29. Intrigued by its potential, I decided to modify it slightly to accommodate mounting on one of my trekking poles. I opted for a rigid design over flexible legs because it seemed more stable that way. The central hub where the legs are attached comes in two different sizes. Since my trekking pole required the longer size, using the shorter one would have resulted in the tip of the pole being lower than the legs. The adjustable screw allows for easy modification to fit any type of trekking pole. When paired with thing:3000627, this tripod combo transforms into a remarkably convenient and lightweight setup that's effortless to carry and use.
