When I was a kid, I wished I had an after-school club that embraced the fandoms I loved. 30 years later, in my Middle School, I began a club called, "Trek Wars." We bring students together into a space where we can talk about Science Fiction, Super Heroes, Fantasy, and everything considered, "geeky" and "nerdy." We have only just begun growing our group, but we have MANY things that reflect who we are and how we bring franchises together under one banner.Starting 2 years ago, we began debate tournaments where we take a topic, students make choices, and then they must debate each other in a bracketed tournament until we are left with a winner. We have had winners for who has the WORST costume (Wonder Woman) and who has the WORST "super power" (Asbestos Lady). The first trophy was a basic one that was remixed from the listed file, but now I'm upping the detail and game to properly reflect our club.Fandoms Represented: Star Trek, Star Wars, Superman (DC), Captain America (Marvel), Jurassic Park/World, Harry Potter (Hogworts), Dr. Who, Lord of the RingsThe final product will be printed out in two sections (gold sections and black sections). I've also given spaces for where each part gets assembled. The nameplate featured in this model is more of a place setting.
