Trefoil Menagerie
pinshape
Clockwise from the rectangular-looking one and then finishing inside with the five-pointed-looking one, these are the trefoil knot conformation variations: The cubic lattice trefoil (3,2) and the torus knot trefoil take center stage alongside the tritangentless trefoil and the Fourier-(1,1,2) trefoil. Completing the lineup are the minimum rope length trefoil, the minimum stick number trefoil, and the (2,3) Torus knot trefoil, as well as the petal knot trefoil. Special thanks to kitwallace for developing code that efficiently generates STL files of parametrized curves!
