The models were deliberately oversized so they could be detailed with intricate trunk textures and minimal polygonation. They were painted in multiple coats of standard acrylic paint, then enhanced with hobby foliage that adds an extra layer of realism. Although they can pass for tabletop decorations when painted alone, the foliage really makes them stand out against mass-produced trees available at hobby stores. They were designed to be printed without support, but a brim is recommended for Tree03.stl to prevent it from detaching during the print process.
