It's become increasingly evident that placing the Christmas Tree Star on top of the tree has turned into a significant challenge. Our initial tree top mount cracked, forcing us to purchase a second one, which unfortunately didn't come with a mount at all. The third one we tried came equipped with a mount that was substantially too large and stood out prominently. Notably, all these tree tops attach using a 5/16 inch rod, prompting the creation of this small adapter: one end features an 8mm hole where the tree top is inserted, while the other end has a conical hole measuring from 8mm to 15mm in diameter. This latter end fits onto the tree, and there's also a cutout that provides some elasticity.
