Check out this super simple star to top your awesome Christmas Tree Model - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1913982. You shouldn't need any supports at all, but if it doesn't fit perfectly, just trim off the very tip of the tree. This design is more or less sized for a 170mm tall tree model, so feel free to enlarge or shrink it to match the size of your printed tree.
