tree shear that fits the attachment plate i uploaded on here BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL ASSEMBLING THIS THING. The first file has everything on it, the second has only the main frame(which need supports), and the 3rd file is for just the gearboxes for the n20 motors and push rods. I use 3mm threaded brass circuit board standoffs for the n20 3mm threaded rod in the rod ends. for this build you will need 2x n20 gearmotors with 3mm x 55mm threaded shaft(which you will have to cut to length), 1x right angle n20 gearmotor (slower rpm, the b better), i used a 10 rpm in my build. you will also need 7... 3mm x 20mm bolts to assemble it, and 2... 3mm x 15 bolts for the rod pins, and 2 standard razor blades(USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN PUTTING THEM IN THE SLOTS(they are a very tight fit). It is very hard to get a 3mm D-shaft to print exactly, so if the grapple does not fit the D-shaft on the right angle gearmotor easily, use a cigarette lighter to heat up the shaft, press the master side grapple onto it ,THEN REMOVE IT IMMEDIATELY, or the grapple will melt too much. after it cools off, then you can put it on for good. the slave side of the grapple needs to float freely on the bolt that holds it on. the right angle gearmotor should stich through the end about an 1/8". Be sure to time the grapple so that it opens and closes at the same time. NOTE: there is a piece of plastic in the part of the frame that houses the right angle gearmotor that has to be removed before you can put it in. I had to put it in the design because of the overhang on that piece, but i designed it to "snap" off pretty easily.
