Tree of Life Mezuzah

My partner requested a mezuzah for our front door with a modern design featuring the tree of life. They wanted it to have a scroll inside that could be opened and inspected for damage. I decided on a plug at the bottom end as my starting point. I could have 3D printed the plug, but instead used an 8mm stopper available in stores. The main body is one piece designed to keep out rain, while the decorative sleeve with the tree motif slides over it. The body and sleeve can be printed in various color combinations, which I did in two versions: light and dark wood-PLA, and black-and-gold PLA. I also created a blue-and-white version using CAD software. We haven't decided yet between the wood-PLA and black-and-gold designs for our front door. I will post a final picture once it's installed. The stopper used is "Yoohey 100pcs Plastic Locking Hole Plugs Black 8mm" but they are not available on Amazon currently. They might reappear or be found on Alibaba.
