Tree Frog Fridge Magnet
thingiverse
Really loved the model so I chose to remix it a little bit to turn it into a fridge magnet. I added a 3mm high and 8.5 mm diameter cavity 0.6mm above the bottom into his abdomen area. The plan is to manually insert a pause command, specifically M600 filament change since my printer supports it, into the gcode at the beginning of the layer where the cavity will be bridged by air, and manually place a 3mm high and 8mm diameter neodymium magnet into the cavity. A second magnet can be placed below the heatbed to help keep the embedded magnet in place until bridging is complete.
