To keep deer away from new fruit trees, create detachable eye decoys using a 3D printer in trueSpace. Attach the eyes with crazy glue, color them, and secure with a loose zip tie or "twisty." If successful, you've prevented deer damage; otherwise, it's become an urban legend. After three weeks of implementation, no deer have been spotted on that side of the house, possibly due to fear. An alternative version involves gluing eyes back-to-back and dangling them from a branch for added effect.
