This is a customizable fidget spinner ring inspired by AmazingSpanoMan's original concept, the Customizable Fidget Spinner Ring. I admired his creative approach but wanted to implement some design changes that addressed certain concerns. My goal was to create a sleek and discreet design for everyday wear, avoiding exposed ridges that might irritate adjacent fingers. I also wanted to incorporate a tree design for the holiday season while ensuring the bearing functioned smoothly without excessive clearance or friction between parts after they've been worn in. The current design satisfies all those requirements perfectly. After several print iterations with various settings, I have successfully printed this ring from 14mm to 22mm diameters (US sizes 3 - 12 ¾) at thicknesses of 8-9mm (axial). It's likely feasible to print rings larger than that size as well, but assembling the smaller ones can be tricky. To customize your experience without any tree design, set the "Number of Trees" to 0. Otherwise, you may need to wait for my subsequent release, which includes an additional 'No Design' version. Don't hesitate to give this unique creation a try. Customize the Print Settings Printer: Rapide Lite 200 v1 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.1mm (recommended) Infill: 100% Notes: I recommend using Cura to slice the files, followed by printing in PLA for optimal results. Post-Printing Once your print is complete, perform a basic cleaning operation on it, making sure to remove any extra particles from inside both rings. However, getting those two components together might pose some difficulties - it can be quite tough breaking them apart without snapping the outside ring along with it. Try aligning the outer circle's upper points onto your tree top in first attempt to avoid snapping into smaller piece; alternatively try to tap them into a flat surface with considerable pressure. A minor issue arises while attaching both sections but this may get sorted by pressing pieces together then spin once ascertained. After all these adjustments it'll operate smoothly because all such small inaccuracies that had previously hindered spinning process will disappear and free itself freely with usage. My Process Using a design tool, I began designing my 3D bearing concept before implementing multiple variations based on input provided for creating a circular object that fits seamlessly. This approach worked really well until I could create the perfect version where there's room enough inside and out so everyone can fit comfortably. In the future this method should help those individuals having difficulties fitting or putting together as it helps users get right down without even having any troubles assembling. I'm happy you could print my 3D ring in sizes between US 14mm to 22 mm diameters successfully after printing all designs that match desired specifications of being totally discreet.
